Sandstone Canyon

Since this website is so cool.......and I recently saw a post by Strega for Vimeo embed capability.....thought I would give it a go.

This is a ride through Sandstone Canyon on my XRR that I miss so much.
Sure wish I still had that bike :((

Re: Sandstone Canyon

Is Sandstone Canyon an "Up and Back" route or does it loop around? I've tried to figure it out looking at the maps but just can't tell.

Re: Sandstone Canyon

Can one start at split mt and continue north to 78? Or vice versa?

Re: Sandstone Canyon

It's a dead end spur off of Fish Creek. Of course you can backtrack about a mile and go up the Diablo droppoff to S2 and of course get to 78 from there. The other option is to go on up Fish Creek and climb Heart Attack Hill but that might be a chore.

Pfft. No problem.

Unless I need to bring my bike, too.
