Father / Son ride......
Son Dave and I saddled up and headed East. It couldn't have been a more perfect day for a ride at 65 degress F when we left and about 80 as we reached the farthest point. We rode Highway 94, a route referred to in San Diego lore as Smuggler's Run
We took 94 to Tecate on the California side and then jumped on the dirt road used by the Border Patrol to monitor things. Stopped by train tressel and tunnel used by the Campo to Tecate train. It's been dormant for a while due to the violence in Mexico but the museum and local attractions in Campo are still a good destination.
It was the first use of the GoPro so I guessed on the angle (no viewfinder) and should have adjusted up just a bit. Set it on a pic every 60 seconds and we were off. I edited out some but left most to give a flavor of the ride. Supplemented with still shots at the train tunnel/tressel.
Happy Father's Day!
